The Pearce Grip Frame Insert is a black polymer insert that fills the open cavity at the bottom rear of the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Plus grip frame, a space left by the pistol's compact magazine well design. It snaps into place with a friction fit, requiring no adhesives or additional hardware.
Beyond appearance, the insert helps keep dust, debris, and moisture out of the internal frame cavity. It is made for Shield Plus frames, which commonly run 10- and 13-round magazines, and is not intended for 45 ACP models, Equalizer EZ frames, or original Shield frames.
