Its rigid polymer shell is designed to resist crushing and keep out dust and weather, and it is built with two push-button latches and heavy-duty ergonomic handles.
The case is black and measures 12.28 inches overall in length. It weighs 3.47 pounds with foam and 3.15 pounds without. The body combines polyethylene and ABS components, and it is fitted with five layers of protective foam, a 5/16-inch padlock hole, and a purge vent with a 3-micron hydrophobic non-woven membrane to equalize pressure.
