Peterson Cartridge 6XC Small Rifle Primer Unprimed Rifle Brass 50 Count

Peterson Cartridge 6XC Unprimed Rifle Brass Features Peterson Cartridge holds its match-grade brass to a standard maintained from small batch production lines through final quality control with each 6XC case passing multiple inspections before reaching a reloader. This brass is specifically produced for small rifle primers featuring a flash hole diameter of 0.060 inches rather than the 0.080 inch flash hole found on Peterson s large rifle primer cases. That smaller flash hole is intended to improve ignition consistency for reloaders chasing tight group sizes in 6XC. Because of that smaller flash hole reloaders will need an extra-small or undersized decapping pin to properly deprime these cases rather than a standard-size pin. This brass ships unprimed and is strictly a reloading component not a loaded cartridge so reloaders must prime charge and seat bullets before it can be fired. Peterson s production process emphasizes consistency from case to case which matters directly for 6XC shooters who depend on uniform case volume and neck tension for repeatable velocities. The stated goal behind Peterson s match-grade standard is letting reloaders maintain that same level of precision all the way from the brass to their target.
