Phase 5 FATman Hex Brake 5.56x45mm NATO 1/2"-28 Black Parkerized Steel

The Phase 5 FATman Hex Brake is a muzzle brake for AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington. It is built for competition shooters and precision rifle builders who want reduced recoil and a consistent point of impact from shot to shot.

The brake has two large ventilated baffle sections and chambers that provide the compensation needed to reduce felt recoil. Two top ports are machined at a 20-degree forward-directed angle to direct spent gas. The first chamber wall sits as close to the barrel crown plane as possible to preserve barrel accuracy. The unit measures 3 inches overall, has 1/2"-28 threads, and is made of steel with a black Parkerized finish. It is installed with a crush washer, which sets the device roughly 1.35 inches from the barrel crown.
