Description
The Phase 5 Oversized Magazine Release is a black, two-piece magazine release for AR-15 pattern rifles, designed to replace the standard Mil-Spec magazine release button. It is a drop-in part that installs without gunsmithing. The OMR button and paddle are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, and the paddle includes an ergonomic pocket for the shooter's finger.
The assembly has a larger contact surface than a Mil-Spec button, which can make magazine release easier to actuate. It fits AR 5.56/.223 and 7.62/.308 receivers. It does not fit the AERO M5 platform. It is listed as compatible with Extended Bolt Releases and with anti-rotation trigger and hammer pin sets.
