Phase 5 Ambidextrous 45 Degree AR-15 Safety Selector Black

The Phase 5 Ambidextrous 45 Degree safety selector is a replacement safety for AR-15 and AR-10 / LR-308 rifles built to mil-spec dimensions. It drops into a standard mil-spec safety selector position and gives the shooter levers on both sides of the receiver, so the safety can be operated with either hand.

The unit uses a short 45-degree throw, which shortens the movement needed to engage or disengage the safety. The levers are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet and are wider than standard levers for easier manipulation. The center core is carbon steel that has been CNC machined and heat treated, and the black anodized finish is applied to the assembly.

The package includes a 45-degree throw center core, one long lever, one short lever, two Torx screws, and a Torx wrench. The manufacturer recommends a small drop of semi-permanent blue thread-locking compound when installing the levers.
