Pietta 1860 Army Old West .44 Cal 8" 6-Round Black Powder Revolver

Pietta 1860 Old West Features The Pietta 1860 Old West is built on the classic cap-and-ball revolver pattern chambered in 44 Cal and carrying an 8 blued steel barrel for a long sight radius and period-correct proportions. The steel frame shares that same deep blued finish giving the whole revolver a cohesive traditional appearance rather than mismatched components. Its engraved 6-round cylinder is finished to match adding a decorative touch that sets this model apart from a plain blued reproduction while keeping the same reliable cap-and-ball loading process. Each chamber is hand-fitted to the cylinder a hallmark of Pietta s reproduction quality and the result is a revolver that locks up tight and indexes true with every cock of the hammer. Smooth wood grip panels finish the revolver offering a secure traditional hold that echoes the original 1860 design while standing up to repeated range use. The combination of a blued barrel frame and engraved cylinder gives the revolver a uniform old-world look that collectors and reenactors appreciate. Whether used for cowboy action competition historical demonstration or simply as a well-made display piece the 1860 Old West carries the weight and balance shooters expect from a full-size cap-and-ball sixgun. Pietta has built its reputation on faithfully reproducing classic American revolver patterns for a new generation of black powder shooters and this model carries that heritage in every blued and engraved surface.
