Pietta 1858 Old West .44 Cal 8" 6-Round Black Powder Revolver

Pietta 1858 Old West Features The Pietta 1858 Old West revolver reproduces one of the most rugged and powerful single-action revolvers of the black powder era chambered in .44 Cal for authentic period performance. Its removable replaceable cylinder design lets shooters swap in a pre-loaded cylinder for fast reloading in the field a feature that gave the original 1858 Remington a real advantage over contemporaries in its day. The 8 octagonal barrel carries an Old Silver finish that pairs with the matching frame and cylinder for a cohesive historically inspired appearance. A steel construction throughout the frame and barrel gives the revolver the strength to handle repeated black powder loads without sacrificing the balance and profile of the original design. Walnut grips provide a classic point of contact that echoes the original 1858 Remington design offering a secure and comfortable hold during firing. A polished brass trigger guard adds a traditional accent that stands out against the Old Silver metal finish tying the whole revolver together visually from muzzle to grip frame. This 6-round revolver is built for shooters who want an authentic black powder shooting experience rather than a modern cartridge firearm with the removable cylinder keeping range sessions moving between loads. The octagonal barrel and single-action design also make this revolver a natural fit for cowboy action shooting historical reenactment and hands-on demonstrations of Old West firearms technology. For collectors and black powder enthusiasts who appreciate the history of the Old West this Pietta 1858 Old West revolver offers a faithful and functional tribute to a legendary design.
