The PMC X-Tac Battle Pack is a 5.56x45mm NATO rifle cartridge loaded with a 62-grain light armor piercing (LAP) green tip projectile. It is intended for target shooting and professional use in rifles and carbines chambered for 5.56 NATO.
Rated muzzle velocity is 3,100 fps, with muzzle energy listed at 1,323 ft-lbs. The cases are brass, which supports reliable chambering and extraction and allows reloading. The load is built to the M855 LAP standard for penetration.
