Description
Precision Armament TiTrex 260Ti Suppressor, BlackThe Precision Armament TiTrex 260Ti is a sound-optimized, titanium-core suppressor for 6.5mm and smaller calibers, from 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5 PRC down to 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington. It works on both bolt-action and semi-auto rifles, and caliber-specific front caps are available to tune sound performance to your host. At just 7.2 ounces for the body, it is built for hunters, precision shooters and anyone running an ultralight rifle.X-CORE Exchangeable Core TechnologyMost suppressors wear out, lose performance over time and need destructive repairs. The TiTrex is built differently. Precision Armament's patent-pending X-CORE weld-free exchangeable core system lets the entire core be replaced or upgraded while the serialized XBand housing stays the same. That gives the TiTrex an unlimited service life: if a core is damaged, it can be replaced with no cutting or welding, and when new core technology arrives, it can be factory-installed into your existing XBand housing. Core upgrades can also change caliber, material and color. The XBand serialized containment housing is 17-4 stainless steel with an H900 heat treat. It supports the blast chamber, a stress-critical area, and carries the suppressor's identity through every service, exchange or repair.NURBS Baffle TechnologyAt the heart of the TiTrex is Precision Armament's NURBS (Non-Uniform Reconvergent Baffle Stack) technology, an additively manufactured, surface-modeled baffle design. Developed with hybrid surface modeling, acoustic testing and DMLS metal printing, the topology-optimized baffles regulate gas flow and improve heat transfer. The result is lower sound pressure and minimal first-round pop from a short, light can.Lightweight and Magnum RatedThe Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) core keeps the body weight at 7.2 ounces, or 9.2 ounces with the mount and front cap. Even with that light weight, the TiTrex is rated for .300 RUM with no barrel-length restrictions. Full-auto use is rated depending on the application.Open, Modular MountingThe OPEN SOURCE mount interface is HUB compatible, so you can run virtually any industry-standard mounting system. The OPEN SOURCE front interface accepts Bravo-pattern front attachments, one of the most widely used front cap patterns. A K-Brake ultracompact brake is included. Its CDC technology gives strong recoil reduction with minimal sound penalty.Engineered, Tested and ProvenThe TiTrex went through an exhaustive development program before release. The XBand housing went through dozens of design iterations to make sure the core can be exchanged for life. Sound performance was refined through more than a hundred design iterations in a 1 MHz acoustic lab, studying how each internal feature affects peak sound pressure, impulse and first-round pop. Structural strength was optimized with FEA modeling and then validated through destructive testing, including impulse-fatigue cycles, ultra-short-barrel magnum abuse and full-auto thermal trials. Point-of-impact shift studies confirmed minimal influence on bullet flight. The XBand is made from high-strength wrought stainless steel. It reinforces the aft expansion chamber, acts as a containment and crack-arrest housing, and is mechanically retained to the core with permanence comparable to welding. Because the XBand is never altered during service, the core can be replaced, rebuilt or upgraded any number of times while the original serial number stays the same. The titanium core carries an application-dependent full-auto rating. A Light/Limited rating covers controlled automatic fire in short strings with cooling periods, typically 30 to 90 rounds in short bursts or limited magazine dumps, rather than sustained high-volume fire.Key FeaturesOptimized for 6.5mm and smaller calibersX-CORE weld-free exchangeable core for unlimited service lifeXBand serialized containment housing, 17-4 stainless steel with H900 heat treatNURBS additively manufactured baffle technologyGrade 5 titanium core, 7.2 oz body weightRated for .300 RUM with no barrel-length restrictionsHUB-compatible OPEN SOURCE mount interfaceBravo-pattern compatible front interfaceK-Brake ultracompact brake includedBlack finishSpecificationsManufacturer: Precision ArmamentModel: TiTrex 260TiPart Number: R10122UPC: 810112082258Caliber: 260 (6.5mm and smaller)Core Material: Titanium, Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4VXBand Material: 17-4 stainless steel, H900 heat treatWeight: 7.2 oz (body), 9.2 oz (with mount and front cap)Outside Diameter: 1.65 inLength: 5.9 in (body), 6.2 in (with mount and front cap)Blast Chamber Depth: 1.55 inMount: OPEN SOURCE, HUB compatibleFront: OPEN SOURCE, Bravo-pattern compatibleIncluded: K-Brake ultracompact brakeFinish: BlackBuying a SuppressorSuppressors are NFA items.
