The Primary Weapon Systems Ratchet Lock Castle Nut and End Plate Set Mod 2 is a buffer tube hardware set for AR-15 and AR-308 pattern rifles. It uses a ratcheting mechanism in place of traditional staking to hold the castle nut locked against the receiver extension, allowing the nut to be removed and reinstalled without re-staking.

The set is made from 4140 steel with a black finish and works with both mil-spec and commercial buffer tubes. The end plate integrates a QD sling mount, so a sling attachment point does not require a separate QD end plate or swivel adapter. Installation uses ordinary armorer's tools.
