Proof Research Q Fix Carbon .300 Blackout 16" 1-8 Twist Threaded Rifle Barrel

Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Mini Fix Barrel Features The Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Mini Fix Barrel is machined specifically to drop into the Q Mini Fix barrel nut system giving owners a direct-fit upgrade without the fitting work a standard barrel swap requires. Chambered in .300 AAC Blackout the 16 inch barrel uses a 1 in 8 twist rate which stabilizes the heavier subsonic bullet weights commonly run through suppressed .300 AAC Blackout builds while still handling lighter supersonic loads cleanly. The stainless steel construction offers good corrosion resistance along with the accuracy potential stainless barrels are known for among precision shooters. At 2 pounds 4 ounces the barrel keeps the overall rifle weight manageable for a 16 inch length. A 5/8x24 thread pattern at the muzzle accepts standard-pattern suppressors and muzzle devices without requiring a separate thread adapter simplifying setup for shooters already running .300 AAC Blackout suppressed. Proof Research has built its reputation on tight tolerances and consistent accuracy across its barrel lines and this Pre-Fit series extends that quality into a drop-in format for Q rifle owners. Swapping to this barrel lets shooters refresh a worn factory barrel or dial in a different twist rate without sending the rifle out for custom gunsmithing. For Q Mini Fix owners chasing more consistent accuracy this Proof Research barrel is a straightforward upgrade path.
