PTG M16 Style Extractor Remington 700 308 Winchester Bolt Face

Designed after the extractor found in the M16 military rifle, this is a scaled down version that fits the Remington 700 bolt action. Originally intended for full automatic fire, this upgrade assures positive extraction from your hunting or tactical rifle. The extractor itself is fully CNC machined from steel billet. The kit comes complete with the billet extractor, the extractor spring, and the retaining pin.This kit can be installed in Remington 700 rifles with a factory standard (30-06 Springfield, 308 Winchester) bolt face, but please note this is not a drop-in part. Installation requires machining of the bolt and should be performed by a qualified gunsmith. Current production runs of PTG 308 Winchester bolts cut for M16 extractors require the large/magnum extractor, product #111548.
