Description
The Pulsar Axion XQ19 Compact is a handheld thermal monocular built for scanning and locating warm-bodied game in low light or total darkness. It uses a 384x288 thermal sensor with a 17 micron pixel pitch to resolve enough detail to identify hot objects at distance.
The monocular offers 1.5-6x magnification through a 19mm objective and includes brightness and contrast controls that can be tuned to observation conditions. A User Mode function stores preferred settings in memory for recall on later use. The magnesium alloy housing keeps the unit at 8.8 oz with a matte black finish.
The Axion runs on a quick-change APS3 rechargeable battery rated for up to 8 hours of continuous operation per charge. A spare battery can be swapped in seconds.
