Description
The Radical Firearms RF-15 SOCOM is a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and 223 Remington, built on a forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receiver set with Type III hard coat anodized finish. Its 16-inch barrel is made from 4140 chrome moly vanadium steel with a Melonite surface treatment and a 1:7 twist rate, suited to a range of 5.56 NATO projectile weights.
The rifle uses a mid-length gas system with a .750 low-profile gas block and a 15-inch M-LOK free-float handguard. The barrel is threaded, and the rifle ships without sights. It includes a B5 Type 23 pistol grip and a six-position B5 BRAVO adjustable stock, with one 30-round magazine included.
