RCBS 1776 Full Length Die Set 30-06 Springfield 2-Die Commemorative

Rcbs 1776 Features The RCBS 1776 Edition Full Length Die Set is built for the .30-06 Springfield cartridge a round tied to decades of American military service rifle history making it a fitting chambering for this commemorative release. The Full-Length Sizer Die brings fired cases back to SAAMI minimum cartridge dimensions sizing the outside of the case while the integrated Expander-Decapping Unit removes the spent primer and expands the case neck to properly accept a new bullet. Vents machined into the die prevent case damage from trapped air or excess lubricant during sizing and headspace is held to minimum tolerances so repeated full length sizing does not alter case body length over time. These two dies thread into a standard 7/8 inch-14 press using proprietary RCBS die steel for long service life. The included Seater Die features a built-in roll crimper securing the bullet in place at the same time it is seated for a more consistent repeatable cartridge overall length. Rather than the standard green plastic die box alone this limited edition set ships inside a custom wooden presentation box featuring special 250th anniversary graphics with the plastic die box nested inside for everyday storage use. The wooden box can then serve as additional storage for bullets reloading tools or other bench accessories once the dies are in service. Made in the USA this commemorative two-die set is intended strictly for reloading bottleneck rifle cases and is not a source of loaded ammunition.
