Atlas adapter overrun measures approximately 1.050 inches while Atlas XL adapter has no overrun. The nitride finish creates a tighter seal, making proper torquing and Rocksett application critical. Clean all mating surfaces thoroughly. Torque muzzle device to approximately 30 ft-lbs and apply Rocksett. Ensure the device is square against the shoulder.
