This serial number of this Remington '03 traces to Dec, 1942. The barrel code traces to Jan - 1943. It is in great shape, with a few scratches and dents from handling. The metal shows little use. All the cartouches and stamps are sharp and clear. Nice rifle that may have sat in gun lockers, and only used for ceremonies.
