Remington 1816 Double Precision 20 Gauge 28" Side-by-Side Shotgun

Remington 1816 Precision Features The Remington 1816 Precision is built on a case hardened steel frame with engraving giving the receiver a durable surface that also carries traditional color case styling into a modern double. The blued 28 barrels in 20 GA are paired with ejectors that clear spent hulls automatically speeding up reloads in the field or on the clays course. A single gold trigger simplifies the shooting experience on a double gun removing the need to track which barrel fires next while a manual safety selector lets the shooter control when the gun is ready to fire. The thin wall multi-choke system that ships with the gun including Skeet Improved Cylinder Light Modified Modified and Full chokes lets one shotgun adapt from close flushes to longer crossing shots without swapping barrels. The Prince of Wales straight cast stock is cut from Turkish walnut and hand checkered at 24 lines per inch giving the shooter a secure grip under recoil while the hand rubbed oil finish highlights the wood grain. A splinter forend keeps the front end slim and traditional matching the classic side by side profile the 1816 Precision is built around. A fitted recoil pad absorbs felt recoil from 20 gauge loads making longer days in the dove field or on the sporting clays course more comfortable. Finished with a front brass bead sight for fast target acquisition and shipped complete with a carrying case the Remington 1816 Precision gives hunters and clays shooters a classic double gun ready for the field right out of the box.
