Remington ~ Rolling Block ~ 8X58R

Remington Rolling Block Rifle, chambered in 8X58R. This rifle was most likely a Swedish contact piece that has been chambered in 8X58R. The crown over C indicates Sweden ownership and 1875 as the date of manufacture. This rifle has been sporterized with the stock cut down, the original rear sight being taken out and a flip up sight added, and the front sight being changed. Bore is in very good condition with crisp rifling.
