Remington ~ Sportmaster Model 512 ~ .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle

The Sportmaster Model 512 was produced between 1940 and 1962. This example has no serial number and no dates code on the barrel, so we were unable to determine a manufacturing date for it. It's in pretty good shape, with about 80% of its blue finish intact. The wood looks fairly decent, too, with normal wear but no cracks or deep gouges. A previous owner inscribed his or her initials on the grip heel. The iron sights were removed at some point and are no longer with the rifle. It has a vintage Mossberg No. M4D 4 Power scope mounted on the receiver. The action is smooth and the bore is bright. No box or case.
