Description
The Reptilia AUS Mount is a one-piece scope mount machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, built to hold 35mm tube optics on an M1913 Picatinny rail. It has a 1.54-inch bore height and a flat dark earth anodized finish that is applied as a hardcoat, which the retailer describes as penetrating the surface rather than coating over it.
The mount uses a spring-loaded nitrided steel clamp that attaches to the rail without protruding quick-release levers, keeping a low profile along the receiver. It can be tightened with either a 5/32 hex key or a flat blade driver. It is intended for rifles running 35mm scopes that need a matching FDE finish.
