Description
The Reptilia DOT Mount is a Picatinny-mounted base for the Aimpoint ACRO red dot sight on AR-15 rifles. It is designed to hold the optic at a lower 1/3 co-witness height so the backup iron sights remain visible through the lower portion of the optic's field of view.
The mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Flat Dark Earth with a hardcoat anodize. The 39mm bore height sets the co-witness geometry. A spring-loaded nitrided 4140 steel clamp attaches to any M1913 Picatinny rail, and the mounting bolt sits flush with the body of the mount.
