Description
The Reptilia Handguard is a 9.4-inch free-float handguard for AR-15 M4-type upper receivers, extruded from 6061-T6 aluminum. Its consistent 33.5mm internal diameter is intended to provide clearance for a range of suppressor and muzzle device configurations, while the slim outer profile suits use in confined spaces or under slings and gear.
The handguard has a Flat Dark Earth hard anodized finish that is described as penetrating the aluminum surface rather than coating over it, and it uses M-LOK slots along its length for attaching lights, lasers, grips, bipods, sling mounts and other M-LOK-compatible accessories. It is installed with a turnbuckle system that replaces a conventional barrel nut arrangement; the Reptilia Barrel Nut and Turnbuckle Wrench is sold separately and is recommended for correct torque.
