Specifications
Description
The Reptilia ROF-90 is a 90-degree side mount that holds an Aimpoint ACRO or Steiner MPS red dot optic on a Geissele 30mm Super Precision mount or a Reptilia AUS mount. It is intended to add a close-range optic alongside a magnified scope, allowing quick target engagement and passive aiming with night vision. The optic can be zeroed separately from the magnified scope, for example for subsonic cartridges such as 300 AAC Blackout while the magnified optic is used with supersonic ammunition.
The mount is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish in Flat Dark Earth. It is designed to keep the optic close to the host scope's centerline while maintaining clearance so the magnified sight picture is not obscured.
