Retay Arms Gamelander .223 Rem 20 Barrel 1-Round

Retay Arms Gamelander Features The Retay USA Gamelander uses a simple break-action single shot design chambered in .223 Rem opening and loading in one motion for hunters who prize reliability over capacity. The 20 black chrome steel barrel resists corrosion in wet field conditions while giving the rifle a durable low-maintenance finish that holds up to years of hard use. A hammer safety gives the shooter direct tactile control over the rifle s ready state which matters when moving through brush or crossing obstacles in the field. The low-profile Picatinny rail is drilled and tapped directly into the receiver letting a hunter mount a scope without aftermarket bases or gunsmithing. The matte black synthetic stock is built with an adjustable cheek piece so the shooter can raise or lower the comb to align the eye properly behind a mounted optic. That adjustability pairs with a 14.37 inch length of pull to fit a range of shooters and the ambidextrous layout means the rifle works equally well for right or left-handed hunters without any added hardware. The AIRY recoil pad system is engineered to cut felt recoil by as much as 30 percent softening the impulse of a .223 Rem round over a long hunt. At around 38 inches overall and in the 6.7 to 8.4 pound range depending on configuration the Gamelander is a compact easy-carry single shot built for the field.
