Retay Ace-R Upland Ultralight 28 Gauge 26" Semi-Auto Shotgun

Retay Arms Ace-R Upland Ultralight Features The Retay Ace-R Upland Ultralight cycles on Retay s Straight Line Inertial Transfer System a design that keeps recoil impulse consistent and cycling smooth shot after shot without the added weight or complexity of a gas system. The Dead Straight Deep-Bore Drilled barrel is engineered for straightness and consistency down its full length contributing to tighter more predictable patterns on fast-moving upland birds. A factory-lengthened forcing cone smooths shot deformation as it leaves the chamber improving pattern density at typical upland ranges. The AIRY recoil pad reduces felt recoil by up to 30 percent a meaningful benefit on a lightweight 28 gauge that would otherwise transmit more recoil to the shoulder. The humpback aluminum receiver keeps overall weight down to 7.4 pounds making the gun easy to carry and swing through long days chasing grouse in the northwoods or sharptails on the prairie. A fixed Satin Walnut stock gives the gun a classic look and feel while a crossbolt safety keeps operation simple in the field. Five flush-fitting Marapro chokes cylinder through full ship with the gun so hunters can tune their pattern to the cover and range of the day s hunt. A bead front sight keeps the sighting plane simple and fast for wingshooting rounding out a shotgun purpose-built for hunters who value speed and light weight above all else.
