Description
The RISE Armament RA-701 is a compensator, a muzzle device that attaches to the end of an AR-15 barrel to counteract recoil and muzzle lift. Its purpose is to help the shooter keep the sights on target between shots during rapid or follow-up fire.
The device is machined from 416 stainless steel and carries a black nitride finish. It measures 2.5 inches in overall length and uses a 1/2-28 thread pitch, the standard pitch for 5.56mm AR-platform barrels.
It is intended for AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington. A crush washer is included for mounting.
