Rock River Arms LAR-15M Light Mountain Rifle Features The Rock River Arms LAR-15M Light Mountain Rifle is built around a 16 inch chrome moly lightweight barrel with a 1:9 twist rate a combination tuned to deliver 1 MOA accuracy at 100 yards with quality ammunition. The RRA Two Stage Trigger gives shooters a crisp predictable break that improves precision compared to a standard mil-spec single stage trigger. A low profile RRA lightweight gas block keeps the rifle s profile slim under the handguard while reliably cycling the action. The A2 flash hider at the muzzle reduces visible signature while threaded 1/2-28 to accept other muzzle devices if desired. The RRA Lightweight Aluminum Mountain Rifle handguard is a standout feature offering a full-length top rail along with three 1.375 inch accessory rails that can be positioned wherever the shooter needs them for lights slings or bipods. A Hogue rubber grip improves hand purchase and comfort during extended shooting sessions compared to a hard polymer grip. The oversized RRA Winter Trigger Guard accommodates gloved hands a valuable feature for hunters and shooters operating in cold weather. At just 6.2 pounds empty and finished in black the Light Mountain Rifle ships with one magazine and an RRA hard case giving shooters a complete field-ready AR-15 package.
