Description
The RS Regulate Modular Upper is a side mount upper machined to accept Trijicon MRO pattern optics on an AK platform. It gives AK owners a mounting solution built around this widely used red dot footprint, with a matte black finish intended to match the rest of a typical AK's metal and furniture.
The mount attaches to the AK side rail rather than requiring permanent modification to the receiver, so the rifle keeps its original configuration. It is part of RS Regulate's modular side mount system, which pairs with one of nine lowers covering common Eastern European side rail patterns, including Yugo, Romanian and Czech vz. 58 designs. A single upper can therefore move across an AK collection by swapping the matching lower. The optic can be removed and reinstalled, and the mount is suited to shooters who transport or store the rifle with the optic detached.
