Description
The RS Regulate AK-302M Rear Biased Lower is a side mount clamp-on base that adds a Picatinny rail to AKM-pattern rifles equipped with a side rail. It attaches without gunsmithing or permanent modification. Because the mount is rear biased, it positions an optic closer to the shooter, which can improve eye relief and cheek weld on AKM rifles whose stocks were not designed for modern red dots or scopes.
The base is machined from matte black aluminum and weighs 2.88 oz. A single Picatinny interface accepts standard rings, mounts and optics. The mount is not compatible with rifles using a factory folding stock.
It is part of the AK-300 Modular Side Mount System, which covers AKM, Yugo, Romanian and vz. 58 side rail patterns.
