A lightweight skeletonized hammer and a titanium firing pin provide instant lock time. The aluminum skeletonized trigger has a light, crisp break with a quick, positive reset. The Ruger 1911 utilizes an oversized beavertail grip safety. An extended thumb safety and slide stop lever provide positive operation, and a visual inspection port allows confirmation of a loaded chamber. A flat mainspring housing and checkered backstrap provide a solid hold. The Ruger SR1911 Target Semi-Automatic Pistol uses standard 1911 magazines, and accepts most standard 1911 parts, and aftermarket 1911 accessories. Ships with 2 stainless steel magazines.
