The Ruger American Rimfire Standard Bolt-Action Rifle is built with innovative designs and advanced materials to provide shooters with a practical and cost-effective firearm. The synthetic stock includes 2 interchangeable stock modules with a customizable comb height for superior comfort and control. Modern contouring and texturizing on the pistol grip and forend provide a solid, non-slip grip. The stock features molded-in Power Bedding for added barrel stability for outstanding accuracy. The barrel comes with a threaded muzzle for attaching aftermarket muzzle brakes or suppressors (includes factory thread protector). A Marksman Adjustable trigger is user-adjustable for a custom, lightweight pull and precision accuracy. A 60 bolt lift provides plenty of clearance to keep fingers and gloves from getting between the bolt handle and the riflescope, while a 2-position tang safety is easily accessible and quick to operate by both right- and left-handed shooters. A Williams fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable, "V" slot, folding-leaf rear sight provide rapid sight acquisition and precise shot placement. The drilled and tapped receiver features a milled 3/8" rimfire scope base.
