Description
The Ruger JMX-1 Precision Rimfire is a 9-round rotary magazine for the Ruger 10/22 rifle, chambered for 17 HMR and 22 WMR cartridges. Each cartridge sits in its own channel inside the magazine, which keeps rims from overlapping as they feed, a design the manufacturer cites as a way to reduce jamming compared with stack-type magazines.
The magazine has a black polymer body and follower, with a blued finish and metal feed lips. It is listed as fitting the Ruger 10/22 Magnum, 77/17, 77/22, 96/22 Magnum, and American Rimfire rifles.
The retailer describes this as a factory Ruger replacement part, manufactured to Ruger's specifications and materials.
