Description
The Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Model 5887 is a semi-automatic rifle built on the Mini-14 platform, intended for plinking, varmint and general-purpose shooting. It is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, which also accepts 223 Remington ammunition, and comes with an 18.5-inch barrel.
The rifle has a stainless steel finish and a laminate stock. Its sights are a ghost ring rear and a blade front. The magazine holds 5 rounds, and the action is semi-automatic.
Because the platform is chambered for 5.56 NATO and 223 Remington, it accepts common .223-caliber ammunition in both chamberings.
