The Ruger New Model Single-Six is the modern evolution of Ruger's classic rimfire revolver, uniquely defined by its patented transfer bar safety mechanism introduced in 1973. This mechanical upgrade allows you to safely carry the firearm with all six chambers loaded, a major departure from "Old Model" (Three-Screw) versions which required leaving the chamber under the hammer empty to prevent accidental discharges.
