Ruger ~ Rare Prototype Pre-Model 77/22 ~ .22 LR

(SKU: 5681859) This rare Ruger Prototype Pre-Production 77/22 chambered in .22 LR is an exceptional collector-grade rimfire rifle showcasing the classic walnut stock, blued barrel, and Ruger's renowned rotary magazine design. The rifle appears to be in very good condition with strong metal finish, clean wood furniture, and only light handling wear consistent with careful ownership. Included with the rifle is the original box, adding significant collector appeal to this already uncommon example. The Ruger 77/22 was introduced in the early 1980s as a premium bolt-action rimfire built to mirror the company's centerfire Model 77 rifles. Pre-production and prototype examples are seldom encountered and are highly sought after by Ruger collectors due to their limited numbers and historical significance in the development of the 77/22 platform. Serial number 700-01290 falls within the earliest production range, making this an especially desirable piece for collectors of rare Ruger firearms.
