Description
The Ruger GP100 Wiley Clapp is a double-action revolver built for defensive and general-purpose shooting. It uses a triple-locking cylinder that locks into the frame at the front, rear and bottom for consistent alignment, and a transfer bar mechanism that keeps the hammer off the firing pin until the trigger is fully pressed.
This model is chambered in 357 Magnum and accepts 38 Special, holds six rounds, and has a 3-inch barrel. The frame and cylinder are steel with a blued finish. Sights are a Novak LoMount Carry rear and a gold bead front. The grip frame is fitted with a black rubber grip with a hardwood insert, and the grip frame accepts a range of aftermarket grips.
