Description
The Ruger American Ranch Gen II is a bolt-action centerfire rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, built on the American Rifle platform. It has a 16.1-inch barrel with threading, a Cobalt Cerakote finish on the barreled action, and a three-position tang safety that locks the bolt while still allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.
The rifle has no factory sights and weighs 5.9 pounds with an overall length of 37.35 inches. It holds 5 rounds. The stock is rigid and includes a removable comb riser and a length-of-pull spacer to fit different shooter statures, and it is set up for mounting optics.
The rifle is right-handed and suited to hunting and general shooting where a compact, threaded-barrel bolt gun is wanted.
