Description
The Ruger American Rimfire Standard is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 17 HMR, built for small-game hunting, varmint control and target shooting at rimfire ranges. It is supplied for right-handed shooters with a blued alloy steel finish and a black synthetic stock.
The 18-inch free-floating, hammer-forged barrel has a target crown and a 1:9 twist rate, and it is threaded 1/2-28 at the muzzle. The adjustable Marksman trigger offers a user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds. The rifle has an overall length of 37 inches, weighs 5.5 pounds and holds 9 rounds. Iron sights consist of an adjustable V folding leaf rear and a fiber optic front. A 3/8 rimfire scope base is machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped for Weaver #12 bases. Two interchangeable stock modules provide comb height options for scope or iron sight use.
