Ruger Vaquero .44-40, 5 1/2″ Pistol

Ruger Vaquero is a six-shot, single-action revolver made by Sturm, Ruger & Co. that blends the look of 19th-century Old West frontier guns with modern safety features. A patented transfer bar safety stops the hammer from hitting the firing pin unless you pull the trigger. This means you can safely load and carry all six chambers. It features a traditional, hand-filling western grip designed for natural pointing and comfort. Modern Build: It uses durable steel construction with a cold hammer-forged barrel for lasting accuracy. It relies on coil springs instead of breakable leaf springs. A reverse-indexing pawl and beveled cylinder make loading, unloading, and holstering easier.
