Description
The Rugged Suppressors Obsidian 45 Piston is a replacement piston for Obsidian 45 suppressor setups using 9/16x24 threads. It is intended for 45 ACP firearms and is offered in a copper finish.
The piston is machined from 17-4 stainless steel and heat treated for durability. Its non-slotted design creates a full circumference gas seal intended to reduce gas blowback. The piston is right-hand threaded.
When used on a fixed barrel platform such as a carbine or subgun, the spring must be replaced with a fixed barrel spacer to ensure proper configuration and reliable operation.
