Description
The Safariland Species is an inside-the-waistband holster built for appendix carry of the Ruger MAX-9 pistol in 9mm Luger. It is molded from SafariLaminate, a thermal-molded material that is durable while keeping the holster light and compact.
The holster uses passive trigger guard retention with an adjustable tension device, so the retention can be set to the user's preference. A suede lining protects the firearm's finish and aids a smooth draw and reholstering. The sight channel accommodates standard-height sights.
The belt clip is fully cantable and vertically adjustable for positioning and comfort. It fits 1.5 inch (38 mm) belt widths. The holster is right-handed and finished in black.
