Description
The Safariland Species is an inside-the-waistband holster for the Smith & Wesson M&P 9EZ and Shield EZ, built for right-handed carry in 9mm Luger. It uses SafariLaminate thermal-molded Boltaron construction and a minimalist profile intended to reduce bulk, particularly for appendix-style carry.
A suede lining is included to protect the pistol's finish during repeated insertion and removal. Passive trigger guard retention and an adjustable tension device allow the user to tune draw and retention. The belt clip is cantable and vertically adjustable for ride height and cant angle, and the holster is designed for standard 1.5-inch belt widths.
The holster is finished in STX Plain Black and is specific to the M&P 9EZ platform rather than a generic fit.
