SAKO ~ AV ~ .338 WINCHESTER MAGNUM

Sako AV .338 Winchester Magnum With Adjustable Laminated Stock Sako AV bolt-action rifle chambered in .338 Winchester Magnum with a 24.5-inch blued barrel and a distinctive laminated wood stock. Built on Sako's long magnum action, this rifle combines substantial construction with the smooth bolt operation and controlled handling associated with classic Finnish sporting rifles. The laminated stock has a rich reddish-brown finish with dark grain running through the buttstock and forearm. Fine checkering covers the pistol grip and both sides of the forearm, providing a secure gripping surface while complementing the traditional sporting profile. An adjustable raised cheekpiece is mounted to the buttstock and can be positioned to improve alignment with a scope. The stock is completed with a contrasting spacer and a thick Sako marked recoil pad. Sling swivel studs are installed at the buttstock and forearm. The receiver is equipped with scope bases, but no scope or rings are included. The blued 24.5-inch barrel has a clean sporting contour and is marked for .338 Winchester Magnum. The rifle uses a hinged floorplate magazine and has a polished bolt handle with a rounded knob. This rifle is in good condition with visible handling and field wear. The blued metal retains a strong overall appearance with scattered finish wear and light marks. The laminated stock remains attractive but shows scratches, impressions, finish wear, and several filled or plugged areas along the action and forearm. The adjustable cheekpiece and recoil pad remain serviceable.
