Like all of the rifles in the 85 family, the Sako 85L Classic’s action is equipped with the exclusive RCS controlled cartridge feed system which eliminates the possibility of double feeds and cartridge jams. The action’s bolt handle is also designed to place the shooter’s hand in a natural position, which in turn allows for faster repeated firing and follow up shots. Other features of the Sako 85L Classic include an innovative magazine design and precision-manufactured barrel. The magazine is detachable, but can be loaded through the ejection port, and Sako’s patent-pending Total Control Latch prevents the accidental release of the magazine.
