Sako ~ L46 ~ .25-20 (SKU: 4979767)

This Sako L46 bolt-action rifle chambered in .25-20 Winchester is a scarce and highly collectible example of Sako's early production sporting rifles. The rifle appears to remain in very good vintage condition with an attractive walnut stock showing honest handling marks, a strong blued finish, and factory-style iron sights. Serial number 12345 places production in the early years of L46 manufacturing, likely dating to the late 1940s or early 1950s. The Sako L46 was the Finnish manufacturer's first commercial bolt-action centerfire rifle and helped establish Sako's reputation for exceptional accuracy and craftsmanship worldwide. Produced from the mid-1940s until the early 1960s, the L46 was built on a compact action designed for small-caliber cartridges, making it especially popular among varmint hunters and collectors. Rifles chambered in .25-20 Winchester are considerably less common than many other L46 chamberings, adding to this rifle's appeal as a unique and desirable piece of Sako history.
