Savage ~ 24V-A ~ .222 Rem/20 Ga (SKU: 5328915)

Savage Model 24V-A combination gun chambered in .222 Remington and 20 Gauge, serial number 20049. This over/under firearm remains a versatile field gun, pairing a flat-shooting .222 Rem rifle barrel with a 20 gauge shotgun barrel for small game and varmint hunting applications. The wood furniture shows handling and finish wear consistent with age, while the barrel and receiver exhibit pitting that has been blued over, resulting in an uneven finish. The firearm retains a solid, utilitarian appearance. The Savage 24 series is one of the most recognized combination gun lines produced in the United States, valued for its ability to provide both rifle and shotgun capability in a single platform. The Model 24V-A variant was produced during the late 1960s through the 1970s, making this example a classic sporting arm from Savage's long-running combination gun lineup.
