SAVAGE ~ 24V SERIES D ~ .30-30 WIN/ 20 GAUGE

Savage Model 24V Series D break-action combination gun chambered for .30-30 Winchester over 20 gauge. This versatile over and under configuration combines a centerfire rifle barrel with a 3-inch shotgun barrel, allowing the shooter to select between two different types of ammunition in one firearm. The 24-inch upper barrel is chambered in .30-30 Winchester and is fitted with a ramped front sight and folding adjustable rear sight. The lower barrel is chambered for 20-gauge shells up to 3 inches in length. The shotgun barrel was commonly supplied with a fixed Improved Modified choke, but the choke marking should be verified before the listing is finalized. A Simmons 4x32 scope is mounted above the rifle barrel using an elevated rail and ring system. The folding rear sight remains installed beneath the scope. The top-mounted barrel selector allows the shooter to choose the rifle or shotgun barrel before firing. The receiver retains visible case coloring with blue, gray, and muted reddish tones. The firearm is fitted with a walnut pistol-grip stock and matching forearm. Pressed checkering on the pistol grip provides a secure hold, while the contrasting grip-cap and buttplate spacers add traditional styling. Sling swivels are installed at the buttstock and barrel assembly. This combination gun is in good condition with honest field and handling wear. The barrel finish remains strong overall with scattered scratches and light wear. The receiver retains attractive case coloring. The walnut stock and forearm show scratches, impressions, finish loss, and handling marks, but no major structural damage is apparent.
