The fore-end and pistol grip surfaces have a soft grip overmold to provide a non-slip hold in any weather. Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a light, crisp release with no creep and minimizes the risk of an accidental discharge with a lever mounted within the trigger body that blocks the sear until the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center.
